Kittens are ready to go to their new home at 12 to 16 weeks of age. At that time they will typically have had their 1st and 2nd set of shots, (shots given at 7, 10 & 13 weeks approximately) and will have been thoroughly examined by my Veterinarian.
POLICIES
Kittens sold as pets will have to be spayed/neutered at 6 to 9 months of age. Males cannot be neutered before 6 months. At that time the registration papers will be made available to the purchaser upon proof of altering in written form from their veterinarian
If for any reason the purchaser cannot keep the kitten/cat, the seller has first right of refusal. If the breeder cannot take the cat back she will make every effort to help find a home for the kitten/cat. No refund should be expected.
If circumstances of the buyer require a kitten to stay with Psycatics longer than 16 weeks, we reserve the right to charge a boarding fee of $15.00 per day/per kitten to cover the daily cost of food, litter etc.
* Only cash or money orders are acccepted for final payment of kittens. We do accept checks for deposits.
There has been some confusion so I will explain my policy on show homes verses pet homes. I take reservations on kittens many weeks before they are ready to go to their new home. If in that time frame a cattery contacts me and is interested in a kitten that may be show quality and is already reserved for a pet buyer, I reserve the right to move the pet buyer to 2nd reserve and hold the kitten for the cattery as we watch it develop. The kitten may very well not turn out to be what the cattery is looking for and then again be available for the pet buyer. However, if the kitten is show quality it should go to a show home. If I have a show quality kitten and there is no show home available, it can go as a pet. There are never enough show homes available so I will not pass up an opportunity to place one of my kittens in a show home if possible.
